it's been more than a month since i last blogged... not a lot of time coz got to satisfy my need for long periods of rest and games... holidays are here, so fun, except that i have to extract my teeth and get my braces done...

31 october:

higher chinese o level paper... must take... wasnt that bad in the front sections, but it gets a bit tough at the end... at least can get 20 marks for sure from 填字and 填词... do hope that i can get good results and a good marker...

2 november:

明星偶像登场了！star idol on channel 8, searching for budding actors... some of the top 20 contestants are quite strong, and they really look like star idols... 23 november is the start of the elimination rounds through viewer's sms voting... i believe that it's going to be an exciting competition...

4 november:

校园superstar advert on channel u... fancy the contestants wearing school uniform to the auditions at a very public place like junction 8... 19 and 20 november is the date, junction 8 is the venue, some top 24 contestants from the recent 绝对superstar 2005 will be there to support the people going for auditions... singing with your school uniform on, a feeling of them singing their school songs is quite strong... i wanted to go for a shot, but i have to fix my braces so i missed this opportunity... terence (our class monitor) is taking part just for fun, here wishing him good luck... maybe wait for 绝对superstar 2006...

7 and 8 november:

the damned humanities in celebration... it was totally crap... last year wasnt that bad, at least get us to watch some plays done by students... this year was crap, trying to arouse interest of writing in us... forget it, not many would be interested... maybe the humanities programme students may be interested, but i don't think the mainstream students would like it... it was quite boring, though some speeches by some writers were quite inspiring, i must say... just bought a few english and chinese books just to read over the holidays, not a lot coz i havent started reading harry potter book 6 which was bought many months ago...

got back report book on 8 november... results ok lar, at least can get to junior college smoothly... i do not fancy spectacular results, just something that is enough for me and make me satisfied... now just waiting for the results of higher chinese o level paper and the subject combinations... dunno whether can get combination of biology, chemistry, computing... if not biology, chemistry, mathematics is also not bad...

10 november:

4A'2005 dinner at seoul garden, takashimaya shopping centre, orchard... 20+++ people (if i'm not wrong) and 3 teachers (mr lam, 陈老师, miss ng) went for the dinner... got class t-shirt, quite exp for a design that does not use a lot of colours, but it looks nice... back to the dinner, it's just a normal dinner at the table barbeque dinner restaurant... and fancy 陈老师 gave us 灯谜 (not really 灯谜 coz it's not mid--autumn festival)... our group got the most number of questions correct, thanks to vincent and terence... after the dinner, everyone just 散场... well, i didnt expect to happen, though this is the norm for most class gatherings...

so many things happened during the last few days of school and the first few days of the holidays...

today is really eventful, with my extraction of my pre-molar tooth on upper jaw in preparation of fixing the braces in the first session of 3... first was 8 rubber rings to make gaps between my teeth, then it was the extraction... the extraction went well, just that my hands and feet went cold during the process... still have to extract another pre-molar on the upper jaw next monday...

darn...
